BOOK: The Sex Lives of Cannibals by J. Maarten Troost

     Lisa says: "I am a big fan of books where people drop everything in their lives
                      to go off and live in some exotic place, and this is a great one.
                      Think Under The Tuscan Sun with no electricity or running water
                      on an island in the middle of the equatorial Pacific. This book made
                     laugh out loud, and taught me a great deal about cultural diversity."

DVD/VIDEO: Curb Your Enthusiam, Complete First and Second Seasons

     Lisa says: "Larry David is brilliant! This dry, pseudo-documentary series is a gem.
                      I admit that I love watching celebrities make fun of themselves, and was
                      a huge fan of The Larry Sanders Show as a result. Although I can only
                      watch a couple of episodes at a sitting (I get frustrated with how much
                      trouble he always gets into, in an I Love Lucy sort of way), I adore the
                      comedic genius of this show."
